Perfume2U Alumni annouce squad for Ashby Sevens
15th April 2007 Tony Rolt and Alumni Stalwart James Bramwell have today annouced the squad which play for the first time at the Ashby Sevens. Bramwell commented "we have brought in a few new guys to see how they cope but they will be helped by a number of the usual suspects".

Alumni win the Stoneygate sevens in style

Tony Rolt's Alumni Invitation 7, won this years Stoneygate Sevens in style. Scoring over 300 points in 6 games and with only 34 points against. With a repeat of last years final against Leicester Lions the Alumni took the Lions to the cleaners with an emphatic win. To top things off Alumni player Liam Brown embarisingly picked up the player of the tournament award.
Alumni squad annouced for Stoneygate Sevens

Site Coat Services one of the Alumni 7 newest sponsors for reasons unknown have withdrawn thier sponsorship for the forthcoming Stoneygate Sevens tournament. Tony Rolt commented 'the Alumni will still be sending a powerful squad to Stoneygate this year and we will continue our search for a new sponsor'.

Site Coat Services to sponsor the Alumni 7

Site Coat Services one of the largest off site blasters and painters in the UK has agreed to sponsor the Alumni 7 for one of their tournaments for the forthcoming 2007 season.

Alumni 7 to enter 3 tournaments for the 2007 season

Tony Rolt, Director of Rugby of the Alumni Invitation 7 has today confirmed that the Alumni 7 will enter 3 tournaments for the 2007 sevens season. Tournaments confirmed are Stoneygate Sevens, 12th May, where the Alumni will try to go one better than last year where they ended up with the runners-up title.
Rolt has also entered the Alumni rugby 7 into the Ashby sevens which will take place on the 19th May. Rolt commented "the Ashby Sevens has now been running for a few years and is quickly establishing itself as a top sevens tournament and it will give us a good leveller to see how far we have come in the last few years".
Runners-up for the Alumni Rugby 7 at Stoneygate

On a misserable Saturday at Stoneygate, the Alumni 7 came so close to securing the 2006 Stoneygate Sevens title. The Alumni 7 played some fantastic rugby throughout the day but eventually came undone by a strong Leicester Lions side.
The Alumni walked away with a cheque for £125 to add to the growing amount they have raised for both Tom Woolrich and Matt Hampson. Leicester Lions also joined the fundrasing party by kindly donating their winnings to the Matt Hampson Trust Fund.

Alumni Invitation 7 win the Plate at Scarborough Sevens

After another wet and windy sevens weekend the Alumni played some great sevens including a monumental win in the semi-finals over the Samurai and eventually ran out clear winners in the Plate final to beat Sussies Exiles. The Alumni walked away with a cheque of £350 to added to the charity pot for the 2005 season.
Another mention must go to the Alumni's Mark Woodrow who picked up the 'player of the tournament' award for Scarborough Sevens.

For 2004 the Alumni have been invited to enter the Annual Travis Perkins Sevens as North Walsham RFC. The Alumni will have to play against some of the top iniviational sevens teams in the country including the Samurai, the Jedi, the Apache as well as a number of Premiership sides such as Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints and Saracens.
The Alumni rugby 7 have also entered Stoneygate Sevens in Leicester to try and go a few better than last year.
